This prenatal yoga teacher training will enable teachers to confidently guide and teach yoga to women during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
This course will not only cover the practical knowledge you’ll need to teach pregnancy and postnatal yoga, but will also delve into how you can support women through the emotional, mental and spiritual journey that is involved in the sacred transition into motherhood.
Enrolment is open year round. You work through the course at your own pace. Our slack community provides real time feedback and schedule a one-off mentoring session with me to ask all your questions.
The online course includes a range of different mediums to help you learn including – video, audio, written, diagrams and interactive.
+ Digital copy of the training manual ‘Teaching prenatal and postnatal yoga’
+ Video lectures of all modules
+ Further activities (reflective and practical) to consolidate your learning.
+ Video and audio examples of teaching practices described in the course
+ One off mentoring session with Bettina
+ Ongoing mentoring via email and Facebook Community
What are the pre-requisites to enrol in this training? Do I need to be a yoga teacher?
You don’t need to be a yoga teacher to enrol in this course. This course would be beneficial for anyone working with women in the prenatal and postnatal period (Eg. midwives, physios, doulas, etc) and who are looking for yoga tools to help support them physically, emotionally and mentally.
You will however get the most out of this course if you have some experience with yoga prior to the course (eg. 6 – 12 months of personal practice).
After completing this course am I qualified to teach prenatal yoga?
This course alone does not qualify you to teach prenatal yoga. The minimum requirement is a Level 1 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course.
This course is designed as postgraduate study for yoga teachers wanting to specialise in the pre and postnatal area.
When do I have to complete the online course by?
You have lifetime access to the course content and can come back to it whenever you need.
Can I after pay it?
The in-person course must be paid in full prior to the first weekend dates.
The online course can be paid in instalments, just like afterpay.
Got a question I haven’t answered? Shoot me an email and I’ll get back to you asap.
